Our design makes better contact on long hair breeds such as German Shepherds along with being a much better conductor vs stainless steel.. Please take note that these contacts are NOT to be used for long periods of time as they will definitely irritate the dogs neck.. Also be aware that the levels of stimulation tolerated by the dog can change with these as brass is a 10x better conductor than the poor conductivity of stainless steel..
